Hace tiempo que quería utilizar la pasta kataifi, también conocida como kadaif, kanafeh o kadayif. Según tengo entendido está elaborada como la pasta filo, pero presentada en forma de fideos.
He visto vídeos en internet donde utilizan esta pasta para postres, pero recientemente me presentaron unas croquetas en un nido de esta pasta y me pareció una presentación atractiva.
En el vídeo de hoy la utilizo para rebozar (más bien forrar) unas colas de gambón y unos tacos de bonito, dando a estos una textura muy crujiente.
Con seguridad la utilizaré más veces.
La noche del pasado sábado, día 22, comenzó dándole la espalda a las previsiones meteorológicas, permitiendo que la reunión de blogueros cocineros gallegos fuese más seca de lo esperado (por lo menos por fuera).
En a Praza do Obradoiro, a las 10 de la noche, ya se notaba el frío, el cuerpo pedía moverse y algo de calorías, por lo que después de los saludos y presentaciones, los bloggers allí reunidos, iniciamos la marcha hacia el Garum Bristó, local elegido para la pitanza.
Una vez acomodados comenzó el desfile de platos, vinos, risas y brindis. En general, muy buen rollito, al que el equipo del Garum contribuyó en gran medida.
Después de cenar había que tomar un digestivo, por lo que nos fuimos al Vaova. Allí, entre copas, continuamos con la fiesta.
Unos antes y otros después nos fuimos despidiendo, hablando, ya, del próximo encuentro.
Al amanecer llegó la lluvia
