Entre los alimentos de la categoría de las carnes la lengua de ternera tiene muchos detractores. No quieren, incluso, oír su nombre. El ejemplo lo tengo en mi propia casa; Montse no la prueba y no quiere saber nada de ella.
Sin embargo a mi me encanta y si la hago poco es por lo anteriormente dicho. Intento cocinar para todos.
Es una receta que lleva tiempo porque la cocción es larga. Además hay que quitarle la piel a la lengua antes de cocinarla, pero, como todas las recetas tradicionales merece la pena el resultado.
Carne tierna, sin grasas y sabrosa. ¿qué más se puede pedir?

No sabes como nos gusta la lengua de ternera estofada en casa. Y eso que a mi no me entusiasmaba mucho que digamos, pero hoy por hoy me pongo las botas con este plato. Es una maravilla como queda, tan tierna y jugosa que se deshace en la boca. Con las patatinas fritas de acompañamiento, menudo manjar.
